Panel 2: I'm still fond of the grodiness quotient inherent to Emp climbing that slope of "hybridized cancerflesh," especially considering that she's doing so in what would, to her, feel like bare feet. The suprasuit's unearthly protection of the soles of her feet (which allows her to scamper hither and yon over terrain that would otherwise be a major issue) wouldn't necessarily mask the sensation of squelching through the ickiness up to her calves, IMO.

Panel 3: And, as we see here, at times she's having to wriggle and wallow full-body up the flesh-slope, even ickier. Yikes!

Panel 4: As I mentioned before, no danger of further monologuing from ol' Fleshmonger in this scene, folks.
