Panel 4: The biopunkish term "meat jacket" has an odd provenance, as that was gonna be the title of a second Bubblegum Crisis miniseries that, of course, never came to be; in my take on the BGCverse, "meat jacket" would've been slang for the human-flesh camouflage worn by the cyborg Boomers. (The Boomers? Golly.)

Next week on the webcomic, as our grueling story nears its endgame, Fleshmaster's helpfully informative monologue wraps up, and things really start looking bad for our heroine.
