Panel 2: That "THMPP" must've been quite the impact, huh? Note that I would've used the sound FX "THAPP" if Emp hand landed on her feet lightly, and "THIPP" if a much lighter and/or smaller character or object had touched down on a surface.

Panels 3 & 4: This moment is a callback to the very end of Empowered vol. 8's epic concluding chapter, as Spooky and Emp dramatically exited the Lotus Note portal from Hell.

Panel 5: Note that the modern-era, notably "thicc-er" version of Emp's physique is well in effect by this point in the series.

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature?
