Panels 1-3: I'm not entirely sure that's this sequence is as clear as I'd like in conveying that all three of these panels feature a repeating "fixed camera" shot. (Oh, well.)

Panels 4-5: Note that Emp's mask briefly reverts to higher-contrast shading—as opposed to the "blush mask" look used throughout the rest of the volume—as she's unconscious and hence not blushing.

Next week on the webcomic serialization of Empowered vol.9's climactic story, the identity of "my queen" will be revealed, before further hardware-driven mayhem ensues.

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used.
