Just lost the last two g-d weeks of Empowered vol.12 worktime due to surprisingly debilitating pain in my drawing hand's index finger, an incident which has been the worst flare-up of my manifold chronic hand issues in a very long time, if not decades. Most disturbing is that the pain started out as a familiar, bursitis-like ache in my index finger's first joint that I've experienced many times before, but within a day or two inexplicably morphed into a sharp 'n' stabbing pressure-point issue in the fingertip; that's very odd, as up to now I've experienced these issues as completely different and unrelated forms of drawing-hand pain. Ominous!

As of this morning (8/15), the index finger pain has dropped off to a manageable level, and I'm able to draw again after my longest time away from the ol' drawing table in recent memory; but, as this week's commentaries will likely address, this has been an alarming turn of events indeed.

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
