Panel 4: Vaguely annoyed that the tail on the off-panel Emp’s word balloon isn’t crooking back upwards; as of right now, it almost looks like Emp is somehow below the diminutive dWARf!/Fleshmaster. This constitutes some serious nitpickery on my part, but I do feel strongly about all the minutiae of comics lettering.

Also, note the blond hair now visible under dude’s torn headpiece, a detail I’d wholly forgotten about.

Panel 5: This might one of the earliest uses of the cry “HGRAAA,” a personal fave I’ve gone on to use a fair number of times later in the series.
