Panel 2’s dialog box amuses me to no end, in part because the mysterious mastermind behind this effort was detail-oriented enough to write snarky text for their overriding of the Lotus Node portal network.

Panel 4: This seems ominous! Also, as clarified later in the story, firearms enthusiasts will note that the “supranym” Single Action turns out to be rather more literal than would seem tactically wise.

Panel 5: Gotta love old-school Colt Old Navy-style revolvers—or, here, energy weapons whose forms are based on the Old Navy’s distinctive visual pattern. Aesthetically speaking, I never cared as much for the design of the more familiar Colt Peacemaker that followed it.
