Panel 1: I quite like the choreographic detail of Ninjette changing her grip on the sword’s hilt, but am unsure if I came up with that on my own or not, as it seems a tad elaborate to have been part of a martial arts book’s technique demonstration. That is, I’ve never seen a demo saying, “Then, pull the sword back out of your foe’s chest, changing grips in the process.”

Panel 3: An slightly awkward backhand swing for Ninjette to make, driven (I think) mainly by the fact that I wanted the arc of the sword to travel from left to right across the panel, in the same direction the reader’s eye would take across the page.
