Panel 1: Some fun fight choreography, presumably cribbed from elsewhere. Not a fan of the thin little edge portion I drew on that goofy-ass, straight-bladed ninja sword, though. In future books I’d make a considerably better effort at trying to semi-properly depict a Japanese sword's blade.

Panel 3: By the way, two-handed sword grips—wherher they’re reversed like this one or not—are among the toughest arm poses imaginable to draw, though two-handed rifle poses might be in the same difficulty ballpark.

Panel 4: As we’ll see shortly, the shinobi of this particular ninja clan have very, very high pain thresholds. (Possibly unearthly high pain thresholds, in fact.) Ninjette, not so much, but she’s still pretty darn plucky. Ouch!
