This photoreferenced drawing of Emp serves as a none too subtle hint that my long stint of near-daily photo-based life drawing, which spanned from late 2016 through early 2019 (though peaking in frequency during 2017), would soon show a great deal of influence on my artwork for Empowered vol. 11.
BTW, props to my decision to ref from a pose not showing the model's face, which adds a further hint of ominousness to an already disturbing image.
Say, why is that mist rising off Emp's legs all a-glittery? You'll find out ere long, webcomics readers!
Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out
more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12,
I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that
won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what
today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed
Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per
month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design
departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on
fantasy test project The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
