My previous "commentary-on-commentaries" ramble will have to continue next week, folks, as I need to address the actual narrative today.
The day-by-day webcomic serialization serves this particular scene quite badly, folks, as the telepuppeted Havoc's stripping of Emp over the next few pages might well give the impression that something very unpleasant is about to happen, an impression that's going to be left hanging until page 99 shows what Neurospear was actually planning. More on this issue next week as the sequence continues; in the meantime, a SPOILER below for readers who might be jumping to unfortunate conclusions.
SERIOUS, NOT-KIDDING SPOILER ALERT: The puppeted Havoc is about to destroy Emp's supersuit using superpowers heretofore unseen, as Neurospear ramps up the Trial by Fire's difficulty level for our now depowered heroine.
Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out
more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12,
I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that
won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what
today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed
Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per
month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design
departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on
fantasy test project The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
