Unrelated to this week's narrative content, more ramblin' about the commentaries I write for this webcomic serialization!

Anyhoo, what prompted this week's blather about these commentaries was my annoyance at a recurring comment that pops up here like clockwork every month or so, in which an otherwise insightful and exemplary commenter opines that I don't post lengthy discussions of  comic art and storytelling techniques here like I once did years ago. Gotta say, this recurring comment really gets under my g-d skin—which, admittedly, isn't all that difficult to do, as I am one very thin-skinned MFer; luckily, I have just enough brains to avoid participation in the online disputes that my simmering temper would otherwise compel me toward.

More on this matter tomorrow, but I would respond to that oft-recurring complaint in part by saying, "Hey, if you want hundreds of posts rambling about comics art and storytelling techniques in numbing detail, then why the hell don't ya spend a few bucks and check out my Patreon's sprawling archives of exactly such content?"

Speaking of which:

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test project The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
