Unrelated to this week's narrative content, more ramblin' about the commentaries I write for this webcomic serialization.

As I noted yesterday, these commentaries are definitely not a cost-effective use of my precious and sadly limited (morning) worktime in the first place; for the hour or more I spend on 'em each week, I could be getting in a life drawing session or working up a commission or something else artistically tangible, and that's probably what I really should be doing.

But, hey, I've gotten this far into the Empowered saga—not that far from the end, though years worth of content still remain—cranking out daily commentaries on these pages, so I might as well see this effort all the way through to the final act, right?

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. However, my vast archive of years of Patreon posts—extensive Empowered previews, work-in-progress updates on developmental projects such as fantasy comics The Chaste and the Chained and The Last Party, vintage con sketches, work stages on covers, "damsel in distress" commissions, life drawings & much, much more—remains available for Patrons' perusal.
