Panel 3: I raised an eyebrow at a recent comment grousing about a previous line of Emp dialogue in which she addressed Spearmint questioning whether or not the Phallospear could carry her weight, which was viewed as our heroine's body-image issues surging to the fore once more in a tiresome fashion.

Well, for the record (though this was never stated directly in the comic), Emp would never have seen Phallik ride his Phalllospear, because that wouldn't have seemed manly enough for her now-deceased teammate's performatively masculine persona; that is, she didn't know for certain whether or not "Spearmint" could actually carry any passenger, period. Her body-image issues would've informed her query to some degree, but her uncertainty had more to do with trying out something entirely new with the (semi-)sentient weapon.

More on this matter tomorrow, folks!

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test project The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
