That crane was traced from printouts of a SketchUp 3D model, as I had no intention of attempting the insanely complex construction of setting up all that metal latticework. Even so, tracing off and inking the g-d thing remained quite time-consuming. Note also that I made the executive decision to always depict the crane as a silhouette with filled-in blacks, as attempting partially lit rendering of that puppy would, again, have been infuriatingly time-consuming.

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used.
