Ah, yes, my favorite part of this week's action sequence, perhaps not least because I got the "WEE OOO" siren's FX right, IMHO; drawing out the WEEs and OOOs as I did in panels 1-4 works quite nicely to convey the rapid speed of the action unfolding.

BTW, felt I should add the narrative-aiding detail that ol' Redd Alert does, in fact, still have an organic brain housed within that cyborg body, hence explaining Neurospear's ability to telepuppet said cape. (Not that I had the pagecount to guard against potential nitpickery on this point.)

Panels 3-4: Might not look it, but those g-d windows in the building in the background were very, very tricky and time-consuming to work out in perspective and depict in pencil, folks. Enjoy?

The webcomic serialization's less-than-ideal formatting strikes again at the start of next week, dear readers, as you're about to experience a sudden scene change that likely won't make complete sense until three or more pages in. (Or maybe not.)

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test project The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
