Continuing from yesterday's commentary, I should note that today's page was drawn quite some time after the previous one—three to four months later, at the very least. I can't say for sure, as the pages' work-in-progress jpegs have had their production dates scrambled by repeated hard-drive migrations.

Midway through the previous page, as I noted yesterday, I completely lost any interest whatsoever in drawing that g-d page, or any other page from Empowered vol. 11—though I'm not entirely sure about that, as I vaguely recall skipping ahead to attempt work on two different scenes later on in the book. I do know for certain that, when I was finally able to resume work on the volume, I was writing and drawing three separate sequences simultaneously(!), and needed months of further production to join up these disparate scenes.

Commentary blithering on my involuntary 2017 work stoppage continued tomorrow, folks!

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test project The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
