Ah, just remembered that the original version of this page featured a different Emp pose, as seen in the cropped image below:

The red X and green checkmarks were, I think, flags on a "guide jpeg" to make sure that Dark Horse Production ended up using the right image on the final artwork.

Anyhoo, I just wasn't satisfied with the original Emp pose, and wanted something stronger; worked out well, as far as I'm concerned.

With tomorrow's webcomic page, we're about to hit a very important point in the initial production of Empowered vol. 11, one which I'm likely going to spend the rest of this week's commentaries discussing. Ooh, exciting! (Or not.)

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test project The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
