Yeahp, we're revisiting the tragic events that took place during the final act of Empowered vol. 5, not that I care to look up a webcomic link to those pages right now.

Of course, one thing occurs to me as I read through this retconned take on the final interaction between Emp and Mindf**k—how, exactly, was Hannah able to hide these thoughts from Elissa, given her compulsive telepathic honesty? Hrmmmm. Wellp, presumably she has—well, had—some ability to refrain from telepathically blurting out everything, given that Spooky wasn't aware that MF had implanted a version of herself in Theresa's "cognisphere" (as noted in vol. 6).

And yeahp, behold more of my beloved white-on-black captions, which is a riff long ago borrowed from the "objective captions" featured in many Gainax anime, dating all the way back to Gunbuster: Aim for the Top!
