The following three to four pages of action are technically unfolding within only seconds, but my visual storytelling arguably drags out the various events in too attenuated a fashion; so, during these next few pages, I'll speculate about various approaches that 2017-ish Me could've used to "speed up" the perceived pace of these pages.

Yes, folks, even though I consider Empowered vol. 11 to be one of my finest achievements as a writer and artist, I am still going to criticize my choices throughout the book. Hell, I can find plenty to criticize in work that I just finished, such as the frustrating page from fantasy test comic The Chaste and the Chained that I'm about to work on as soon as I wrap up this week's raft of webcomic commentaries.

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test project The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
