Panel 3: I tried out some unusual action approaches in this panel, with rather spotty results. Showing Emp's head snapping back to the left is a very different effect, as I normally prefer to show a left to right "action to reaction" flow; that is, I would customarily have shown Emp's head snapping back on the right side of the panel. Howeva, this approach worked out decently enough, I think.

Arguably less successful is placing the vertical "WHOKK" sound FX bridging between panels 3 and 4, which to me seems to excessively separate the Rubbernecker punch from the sound of its impact. (Worth a try, though.)

Panel 4: Uh oh!

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test project The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
