Panel 1: Not entirely sure that the changing sizes and positions of the two "SKRANGG" sound FX fully convey the intended impression that Havoc was just blown through not just one but two different bulkhead walls, but what can you do? Come to think of it, adding a caption or subtitle text next to each FX stating "BULKHEAD 1 BREACHED" and then "BULKHEAD 2 BREACHED" might have clarified this image, and added a bit of narrative novelty in the process; I'll definitely have to consider such an approach in the future.

Along those lines, I am also quite fond of non-traditional word balloon and dialogue approaches such as the "broken-up-sentence" riff used in panels 2-4. (Pretty sure I received proofreader notes querying if I wanted to add punctuation between the words, but I'm even more sure that I would've blown 'em off with a hearty "Trust me, I know what I'm doing.")

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test project The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
