Panel 1: Hope you readers enjoy the urban panoramas in this sequence, as for once I constructed 'em with proper, painstakingly constructed perspective as opposed to the "ehh, good enough" eyeballing and seat-of-the-pants halfassery I normally use in my city shots. Unlike many or possibly most artists who draw superheroes, I do not enjoy drawing complex urban backgrounds—especially ones of the contemporary variety.
Panel 3: TBH, would've made more sense for Emp to be perched on a rooftop rather than the side of an office building, but I wanted to depict something a bit different from what is normally seen in superheroic conversations scenes like this.
Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out
more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12,
I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that
won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what
today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed
Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per
month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design
departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
