Yes, folks, at the point I wrote this Meta Emp closing page, I seriously thought we were going to be able to release Empowered vols. 10 and 11 in relatively quick succession, an optimistic scenario that emphatically did not prove to be the case. More on this matter when we get into vol. 11 proper, but (IIRC) I wound up stalling out on art production about a third of the way through the book and had to stop work on it for at least a few months, which resulted in Emp11 being punted back quite a ways on the ol' book market schedule. (As opposed to Empowered vol. 12's even worse delays, which are a rather different story.)

OTOH, o fortunate webcomic readers, you enjoy the massive privilege of jumping right into Empowered vol. 11 without any delays, as opposed to the long-suffering print and digital-format readers. Note that, if I really wanted to be a complete dick and render unto you a similar reading experience, I could serialize the Empowered Unchained anthology in full before returning to resolve this cliffhanger in vol. 11, but that is not what I'm gonna do.
