Panel 3: Lordy loo, behold another appearance by the lazy, hacked-out artistic riff I've dubbed "the Zaxxon shot"—that is, a panel featuring near-isometric perspective, which desperate and/or time-pressured comic artists utilize because this camera angle provides for easy, simple placement and orientation of both characters and environmental elements. The Zaxxon shot is also boring, unimaginative, and dull as dishwater, which is why I try to avoid it as much as possible; this time around, though, as Empowered vol. 10 raced through its final pages, I resorted to this hackneyed approach to get through this g-d panel as quickly as possible.

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
