UPDATE: I'm punting the previously scheduled I Am Empowered excerpt to another day, as I had something I wanted to comment about on this particular page.

Panel 3: In retrospect, I don't think Thugboy would've actually said the line, "You're welcome for that #1 Supertip ranking, by the way."  Even if he knew for sure that his undercover efforts were responsible for that ranking, I still doubt that that he'd express that idea to Emp in such a snarky, even Spooky-like manner; in fact, I sincerely doubt that he would even make that statement to her, period, even in the midst of a vigorous defense of his own actions. That line is way too dismissive (if not undermining) of Emp's labors and really isn't something that Thugboy would say; consider this my mistake as a dialogue writer, folks.
