As I mentioned back on Wednesday, my Patreon's thrice-monthly Life Drawing feature will now be exploring my earliest journeys into sketching from photoreference using digital media, as opposed to the pencil-based life drawings I cranked out by the hundreds throughout 2017-18.

Ah, but when I dug back through my iPad's files looking for early sketch sets, I was somewhat surprised to discover that the first digital art app I tried out was not, in fact, Procreate (as I had mistakenly thought), but rather the more obscure app MediBang Paint. Golly! As I now only vaguely recall, MediBang's usability was quite decent and its workflow reasonably intuitive, with strong interface similarities to Photoshop and Clip Studio Paintin stark contrast to Procreate's severely minimalistic interface with all its buried submenus and (tough-to-recall-without-constant usage) shortcuts.

More on this Dawn-Era Digitality next week, folks, along with further I Am Empowered rooftoppery and and upsetting post-kiss development for Emp in our main story!

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
