Panel 1: Ah, yes, the giant paw seen in yesterday's page of course belonged to Country Strong of the Joint Superteam Executive Council. I suppose the question here is whether or not you find his obnoxiously rendered "country dialect" any more noisome than Le Chevalier Blanc's mangled "Franglais."

Panel 3: Yeahp, those would have to some miiiighty short legs on Country Strong for his and Emp's groins to be roughly on the same level, though I suppose he could be kneeling or something. Folks, behold what I think of as the "legless height cheat," which is an artistic riff I often shamelessly employ with characters of different heights when their legs are left out of the shot; this often appears in marginally less dramatic form with Emp and taller characters such as Thugboy or Capitan Rivet.

Next week on the webcomic, we finally wrap the Chevalier Saga with one closing page before blessedly moving on to a new Empowered vol. 10 chapter.

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new.
