Interestingly enough, due to the freeflowing, rather "loosey-goosey" manner in which I occasionally write Empowered stories one page at a time, it is entirely possible that both Emp and myself realized almost simultaneously that Le Chevalier had inadvertently attempted to replicate what almost happened to her at the hands of the Joint Superteam Executive Council.

Panel 4: Nggh. Really wish I'd moved the text in the second word balloon downward a bit, as right now the first line of dialogue is just too dang close to the gutter above it. Alas, I don't feel like screwing around with Photoshop again, so we're all gonna have to live with this annoying little lettering flaw.
