Hope you like Major Havoc’s panel 1 battlecry of “‘Scuse me while I cry havoc,” as said deathless exclamation recurs several more times throughout Empowered. In truth, I’m not sure that “deathless” is really the most apt description of Havoc’s battlecry, as roughly a thousand pages or so from here it’s uttered just before a distinctly death-intensive action scene. So, uh, SPOILER ALERT again, I guess?

The timing on panel 3’s action shot of Thugboy—as yet unnamed, admittedly—plucking Emp and her fellow captive out of harm’s way seems a tad problematic, but what the hell; I rather like the shot, regardless. Not a big fan of Thugboy’s super-baggy pants, though.
