Capitan Rivet’s panel 5 insistence that the Caged Demonwolf can’t be stored at the Superhomeys HQ seems a tad specious in retrospect, but I had to scrape up some kind of rationale for him ending up on Emp’s coffee table. Given some of the colorful mayhem that takes place at said HQ later in the series, it seems rather unlikely that municipal authorities have all that much red-tape influence over the Superhomeys. I’d considered having Rivet, later on in the series, tell Emp that the ’Homeys HQ had finally been cleared for alien divinity storage, setting up a serious dilemma for our conflicted heroine… but so far, I haven’t gotten around to addressing that potential plotline.
