Aaaaaand we're back to one of the sporadic interludes I drew myself in this story, both to expand on certain story elements and to pad out the one-shot's pagecount!

Panels 1-2: Behold, an early appearance of the distinct "jagged-ended" sound FX that I began peppering throughout my Empowered pages circa the 2011 timeframe of this story, as opposed to the "smoother-edged" FX I normally used. Yay?
