Panel 1: Mechanismo's design looks a bit different here because I based my drawing on the 3D model of the character that upcoming Guest Artist Ryan Kinnaird worked up for his story pages; this design was, in fact, much more complex than the version I originally drew myself.

Also, enjoy a rare glimpse of Emp's fully intact supersuit, folks! As I've noted here before, I rarely depict this because A) rendering the full suit is hard on my drawing hand and B) the intact suit looks boring and aesthetically displeasing to me. Emp was originally designed with a tattered suit, you see, so I never attempted to work up a more pleasing look for the unmarred hypermembrane.

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used.
