Yeahp, 2011 Me decided to really double down on this running gag (ha ha!) of the bad guy(s) somehow understanding Emp's "mmph"-ing. Not a comedic choice that held up very well, gotta say.

I guess Emp does have a bit of a point in panel 3, must admit.
