We continue serialization of the 2013 one-shot Empowered: Nine Beers with Ninjette, (as collected in the anthology volume Empowered Unchained), featuring delightful art from Guest Artist Takeshi Miyazawa.

Note that this story was originally imagined as yet another chapter in the Ninjette-centric Empowered vol. 7, but wound up unused due to that book's already overstuffed narrative (which had already expanded into the series' second longest pagecount at 224 pages); I was more than happy to revive this dormant chapter into its own one-shot once I learned that Takeshi was available and interested.

Next week on the webcomic, we move on to our story's second beer with Ninjette!

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature?
