All mecha and vehicle designs in this 2013 one-shot, Empowered: Animal Style, were handled by Guest Artist John Staton, as was the artwork for the mecha in this cover illo. I drew the line art for the Emp figure at left myself, along with the profile shot at upper right (which will be clarified shortly).

The sweet colors for the piece were done by Rob "Robaato" Porter; note that he did such a great job on handling Emp's open, "ink-shadow-free" supersuit that I tried the same thing with the Empowered Unchained anthology's cover illo as well, though the results didn't work out quite as swimmingly (I blame myself. of course):

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used.
