Behold, the 2015 anthology collection Empowered Unchained, featuring stories written by me and drawn (mostly) by Special Guest Artists, though I still drew a fair number of pages in every one-shot and, in fact, drew the opening story, The Wench with a Million Sighs, entirely by myself.
Alas, the Unchained part of the logo didn't work out ideally, and neither did my unusual choice to leave Emp's supersuit entirely open for color without any black inks on it; more on this later, when we see the Guest Artist cover that inspired this ill-fated decision to go "low-contrast." Speaking of color, the quite awesome Photoshoppery on this cover illo was provided by the great Rob "Robaato" Porter.
Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out
more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12,
I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that
won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what
today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed
Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per
month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design
departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on
fantasy test projects The Last Party and The Chaste
and the Chained. Golly!
