We continue serialization of the collected version of the three-issue 2017 miniseries Empowered and the Soldier of Love, written and laid out by me and featuring full-color artwork by the Chilean webcomic artist Karla Diaz.

Gotta say, I'm a tad taken aback by the fact that Yummy Mummy was, it seems, referring to her paramour's actual supranym (that is, "Cool Daddy") when calling him "Daddy" in their earlier sexting. I did not remember that li'l detail, folks.

Note that all these goofy "supranyms" are but a teeny selection from the 15-20 densely scribbled pages worth of cape names I've worked up over the years; 95% of 'em are wacky and whimsical as hell, but at least a few have wound up being usable outside a humorous Empverse context.

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test projects The Last Party and The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
