We continue serialization of the collected version of the three-issue 2017 miniseries Empowered and the Soldier of Love, written and laid out by me and featuring full-color artwork by the Chilean webcomic artist Karla Diaz.

Panel 3: As noted yesterday, the Soldier's "BGM" for this scene was the Barry White instrumental "Love's Theme"; rest assured that vastly if not exponentially worse love songs will be appearing as her ever-changing (yet apparently unskippable) BGMs in later scenes.

Panel 4: Yeahp, Senor Pangolin's Spanish (and that of the Soldier in her "civilian form") is left untranslated, a choice I would almost certainly not make nowadays. However, I was trying something rather odd with this story's untranslated Spanish, an approach which I'll try to address at some point in this series; 'tis rather a long story that will need to be discussed through multiple commentaries, I'm afraid.
